Texas Top K9 provides professional dog training from Springtown, Texas, serving dog owners throughout Fort Worth and the surrounding North Texas area. Owner and trainer Antonio brings 25 years of dog-training experience, more than six years in business, and hundreds of dogs trained, working with all breeds and a wide range of temperaments.
For Antonio, good training has always meant more than teaching commands. It is about helping owners understand what their dogs are communicating, setting clear expectations, and making everyday life together easier.
Meet Antonio
Antonio’s experience includes puppy training, obedience, behavior modification, rehabilitative training, private lessons, and family protection dogs. He specializes in rehabilitative work with aggressive and violent dogs and also has hands-on experience with working breeds such as Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds.
His approach is practical and straightforward. Dogs do not all learn or respond the same way, so Antonio pays attention to the individual dog, the behavior that needs work, and what the owner hopes to accomplish.
Built Around a Passion for Dogs
Texas Top K9 grew out of Antonio’s passion for dogs and his belief that better communication can change the relationship between a dog and its owner. Many clients find Texas Top K9 through referrals, and some return for additional training or another dog.
Antonio is both a Springtown TX dog trainer and dog breeder. Texas Top K9 is a top-notch working-dog program. He has been a Good Dog member since 2021 and has been screened by Good Dog for responsible breeding practices.
Our Approach to Training
Antonio sees the trainer as the connection between the dog and the owner. Part of his job is translating a dog’s behavior into plain, simple terms so the owner can understand what the dog is communicating and respond more effectively.
That philosophy carries through every program. Training should work at home, on walks, around distractions, and in the situations owners actually deal with, while giving them the knowledge to maintain the progress after training is finished.
Built on Trust
People are putting a member of their family in our care, and we take that responsibility seriously. Texas Top K9 has built its reputation through knowledgeable training, honest communication, dependable service, and a willingness to answer questions when owners need help.
Whether Antonio is working with a puppy, a dog that needs better obedience, a serious behavior problem, or a protection dog, the goal remains personal and practical. We want owners to understand their dogs better, communicate more clearly, and leave training with more control and confidence.
